The globalization of ignorance means that a shameful simplification is adopted when speaking about the phenomenon of terrorism. Such simplification is accepted at the expense of a true understanding of the phenomenon of terrorism and also at the expense of the security of the whole world. The issue of globalizing ignorance is not related to the Arabs only. It is a very notable phenomenon in the American media.
