The International Herald Tribune published an article titled “Scholars Scrutinize the Origin of the Qur´an Exposed to Death.” The author of the article claimed that the Qur´an contains a clear warning against criticizing or scrutinizing it. Those who ignored this warning were threatened with death or attempts were made on their lives by certain groups. He added that the Qur´an drew its texts from Christian texts prior to it. And that it appeared only 59 years after the death of Prophet Muhammad.
