The article is an interview with Islamic thinker Gawdat Sa´id. He said that Muslims have been defeated more than once because they did not benefit from history. He added that compulsion has been rooted in the Islamic nation [umma] long ago. It is this compulsion that generated violence and armed groups. He expressed the opinion that respecting mind and the other opinion is the only way out for Muslims.
