Islam is defeated in its own lands or in countries that were previously called Dar Al-Islam [Land of Islam]. Dar Al-Islam was once in conflict with Dar Al-Kufr [Land of Unbelief]. This situation changed and Dar Al-Kufr offered Muslims freedom and humane treatment. This is a very obvious reality; hundreds of millions of Muslims are living under the rule of non-Islamic governments and millions of expatriate Muslims are spread over the five continents, and they cannot go back to their homelands for fear of facing oppression and losing their human, religious and cultural rights.
