-Midan received a copy of the message the Supreme Guide of the Brotherhood Muhammad Mahdi Akef

directed to Brotherhood members [recently]. In his message, Akef stressed the importance of

adhering to the teachings of Islam in order to withstand the fierce attacks on it. The Supreme

Guide said that the campaign against Islam aims at labeling it as terrorist. The campaign also

seeks to prevent Muslims from possessing power.
