Starting last winter till the end of the school year, the Cairo metro has come to be a promising and secure arena for delivering extremist religious sermons. Stickers promoting religious slogans are evidently everywhere inside the carriages. Extremist religious books are always cheaply available, and sometimes freely distributed, all of which tackle subjects such as the religious illegitimacy of [irreligious] songs, marital relationships and the dangers of men and women socializing together.
