A source from the French Police stated that a Jewish man who previously worked at the Jewish community Center was arrested on suspicion that he is behind the arson that destroyed the Center on August 22. The man used to work at the community center as a guard before the center’s administration decided to fire him. That is why the fifty-year-old man decided to take revenge by burning the Center.
Few hours after the arson, a an unknown group calling itself “Ansar Al-Jihad al-Islami, [Advocates of Islamic Jihad] claimed responsibility for the incident.
