Some books at the Cairo International Book Fair were claimed to go against and be incompatible with the principles and morals of religion. This led a number of Muslim Brotherhood Members of Parliament and members of the Religious Committee at the People’s Assembly to demand a comprehensive revision (by forming a specialized committee) of all books that exist in the market and on the sidewalks in the streets.
