The first Muslim-Christian dialogue sponsored by the Azhar and the Coptic Church
On March 15, the Grand Imam of the Azhar, shaykh Muhammad Sayyid Tantāwī and Pope Shenouda III of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark will commence the first conference on Muslim-Christian dialogue. The conference, titled: “Religions and Objectives of Dialogue” and sponsored by the Azhar and the Coptic [Orthodox] Church, will last two days.
