This article exposes the two opposite points of view and stances towards one of the most controversial Egyptian writers, Sayyid al-Qimnī. One group of thinkers and writers of different nationalities are totally against al-Qimnī’s writings and ideologies, and have accused him of insulting Islam and the Prophet Muhammad. The other group support him, as they believe that he has vital constructive thoughts which are, according to them, lacking among Arab and Egyptian thinkers.
