Key members of the Egyptian government and ruling party attended the Abbasia Cathedral's annual Iftar yesterday, yet no appearances from opposing party members were made. The Iftar was the first after it's discontinuation for two years for, as the author put it, "unconvincing" reasons. The first cancellation occurred "suspiciously" close to the Abu Fana incident. Various speeches were made by the likes of Pope Shenouda III, Dr. Ahmed El Tayyib and Dr. Ahmed Fathy Sorour, on various subjects regarding National Unity.
