Minister of Endowments Dr. Hamdī Zaqzūq condemned the “Sayyidat al-Najāh” massacre in Iraq. He also said that Egypt does not accept threats to its people from foreign groups and that it is capable of protecting them. He added that rumours of Kāmīliyā Shehātah converting to Islam were made up by advocates of fitnah tā’ifīyah and that the Azhar holds no record of her conversion.
