Egypt's Minister of State for Legal Affairs and Parliamentary Councils, Dr. Mufīd Shihāb, said that Egypt does not tolerate attempts to interfere with its internal affairs, particulalry its elections. He says that various Egyptian civil society foundations are sufficient to guarantee a fair election. He also called upon Copts to further involve themselves in politics.
