The Coptic Orthodox Church filed a plaint last Tuesday against the Supreme Administrative Court’s ruling that obliges the Pope to issue permits for Copts to remarry. Legal Advisor to the Pope, Munsif Najīb, pointed out that the Church has been granted a stay of execution by the Supreme Constitutional Court.
