Hānī talks about how members of parliament have turned from serving Egypt’s greater good into carrying out services for residents of their districts. He also discusses the negative effect that change has had on Egypt.

However, he says, the recent changes in the constitution which give members of parliament a bigger role in electing presidential candidates will eventually bring them back to their original role.

Hānī says that Egypt's need is for politically aware MP's who care more about their parliamentary roles than appearing in the media.
