Bishop Mūsá has revealed that a meeting will soon be held between bishops of various Christian groups in the Middle East and members of the Middle East Council of Churches. The purpose will be to discuss the situation of Christians and churches in the region.

In statements to Rose al-Yūsuf following a meeting of the "Orthodox family" that includes eastern churches, Bishop Mūsá revealed that Pope Shenouda III is seriously considering reversing his decision to withdraw from the Middle East Council of Churches. 

Mūsá also emphasized the church's desire to continue communicating with Muslim leaders to strengthen Muslim-Christian dialogue in the region.
