The hearings of the former president Husnī Mubārak, his two sons, the interior minister, and their aides over the killing of demonstrators resumes September 11.

Sunday's meeting is the first appearance of Field Marshal Husayn Tantāwī, head of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF), and his deputy, Lieutenant General Sāmī 'Anān, to give their testimonies.

Major General Sayīd Hāshim, a former military prosecutor, said that this represents the bright face of the revolution, and announced that "Egypt is now a country where law rules".
