George Shaker, priest of the Evangelical Church, the general secretary of Evangelical Community in Egypt and Deputy Head of Evangelical Community in Africa, announced his refusal of any foreign interference in the home affairs between Muslims and Copts.

He stressed his refusal to be strong with foreign powers in any form. In exclusive statements to al-Ahrām newspaper, Shaker said that it is wise for families to resolve their problems at home and not spread its claims abroad.
