Ashraf Thābit, the deputy speaker of the dissolved parliament, said he expects the parties to the crisis to reach a political thaw during the next few hours.

Thābit, a member the Salafī al-Nūr Party, said people who have concerns about the sharī’ah should not feel this way because there is nothing in the sharī’ah that should cause these fears, adding having the Azhar as the reference for anything that has to do with the sharī’ah should be a strong guarantee.
