Al-Misrī al-Yawm obtained lists circulating in the wings at the presidency concerning the government and the presidential team lineup.
According to these speculative lists, the government’s lineup will include leaders of the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), political figures and a number of youths of the January 25 revolution. As for the presidential office, it will include Dr. Ahmad ‘Abd al-Mu’tī, the coordinator of Mursī’s presidential campaign, Dr. Yāsir ‘Alī, the campaign’s spokesperson. Also the president’s advisors will potentially include Nādir Bakār, the spokesperson of the Salafī al-Nūr (light) Party, ‘Isām Sultān, deputy leader of al-Wasat Party, and Khālid al-Qazāz, a member of the FJP’s foreign relations committee.
For the position of vice-president, the name came up of Rabāb al-Mahdīa,a prominent member of unsuccessful presidential candidate Dr. ‘Abd al-Mun’im Abū al-Futūh's campaign, in addition to Hibah Ra’ūf, Amīn Iskandar, a Coptic secretary-general of al-Karāmah (dignity) Party, and Samīr Marqus, a Coptic researcher.
The list also contained three potential Copts as ministers, ‘Abd al-Mun’im Abū al-Futūh as Minister of Health and former presidential hopeful Khālid ‘Alī as Minister of Manpower.
