The National Council for Human Rights (NCHR), in its eighth annual report, recommended the expansion of the space of national accordance in the drafting of a new constitution for Egypt.

The report stressed the need to give more interest in the fundamental human rights values as a basis for writing the constitution and advance the meanings of constitutional protection of the values of dignity, freedom, equality, citizenship and justice.
