Meanwhile, the Coptic Orthodox Church said that the lists of voters to elect a new pope in succession of Pope Shenouda III, who passed away in March, will be announced as of Monday (July 23) until Sunday (August 5) in the notice board on the walls of the church of Bishop Ruweis at the St. Mark Cathedral in the Cairo district of al-‘Abbāssīyah.
Contests on the lists will be accepted during the period between Monday (August 6) and Monday (August 20) at the papal headquarters between 10:00 a.m. and 02:00 p.m. on Monday through Thursday each week.
