Mary Zakī, the director of the Mār Jirjis workshop in Shubrā al-Khaymah Bishopric, said the former acting patriarch of the Coptic Orthodox Church Bishop Pachomius surprised them with a new request, which is that the new attire of the pope should have a symbol of the sword linked to the belt, adding Bishop Pachomius has read to them a verse from the Bible that says, “Gird your sword upon your side, O mighty one; clothe yourself with splendor and majesty” (Psalm 45:3).
