Under the title “No invitations to public figures for Christmas’” Al-Musawwar reports that due to the difficult political time the country is currently facing, the Egyptian Church, unlike every year on the occasion of  Christmas celebration, will not send official invitation either to public, political or religious figures. A papal source said to Al-Musawwar, that the Church does not want to be accused of being politically biased; the Church will, however, welcome anyone who wants to congratulate the Pope for Christmas, and will hand in a list of the names of the visitors to the Church security to grant them access to the Church.
