Bibā Bishopric had filed a complain to Beni Suef Attorney General for preserving the police records about taking over a house owned by the Bishopric. Abū Sayf had took over a land that measures 1500 meter square owned by the Bishopric. A number of Copts protested for several days.

Also, a rumor of building a church on a land owned by the Evangelical Church was about to initiate a fitnah in al-Ma’sirah village of Mallawī, al-Minya Governorate. A carpenter initiated the rumor so that he can take over the land (Rānīyā Nabīl, al-Sabāh, Mar. 8, p. 4). Read original text in Arabic.
