Former member of the Dutch right-wing Freedom Party and contributor in producing an anti-Islam film Arnaud Fandor embraces Islam. Fandor, who belonged to one of the most "extreme" and "hostile" parties to Islam, said that after watching the reactions against the film, he began to search for the truth of Islam and the secret love of Muslims for their religion, their messenger and the holy Quran.
He then added that this research showed him the great magnitude of the offence committed by his former party. Therefore Fandor began to read about the Islamic religion, got closer to Muslims in the Netherlands, until he decided to convert to Islam.
The Saudi Arabian newspaper “Okaz” accompanied Fandor during his visit to Holy Mosques, when he suddenly burst into tears in front of the Holy Prophet’s tomb. During his trip to Saudi Arabia he also met several Imāms to hold a friendly dialogue with them. The Imāms support and guidance he received will help him in his future life, he said (Author not mentioned, al-Misrī al-Yawm, Apr. 22, p. 1). Read original text in Arabic.
