In Sohag governorate, a Coptic man, Lutfī Khalafallah Hirmīnā, belonging to the Hirmīnā family was killed yesterday (May 22) by a member of the Muslim-family al-Sha’lānah  a dispute over a piece of land. Following this, a number of the Coptic man’s relatives from his village, al-Siksākah, held a vigil in front of Tamā Central hospital, where the dead man’s corpse had been taken. They closed the Cairo-Aswan Agricultural Road using palm tree trunks, bricks and stones, and diverted traffic to minor roads, threatening to cut the railway line if the man accused of the killing was not arrested.
