Lieutenant General Omar Hassan Ahmad Al-Bashir, President of Sudan, took part to the Ramadan iftār (fast breaking) organized Sunday, July 21, by the Egyptian church in Omdurman (Umm Durmān) of Khartoum State in Sudan. Al-Bashir expressed his joy to share the iftār with “their brothers of the Coptic denomination”.

“This annual event held by the Coptic denomination is a sign of coexistence in Sudan”, he said.
