Coptic Orthodox Father Bishoy (Bīshūy) Hilmī, general secretary of the Egyptian Council of Churches, said that “the Army and  people are one hand” (i.e. are united) yesterday (July 25) in a statement that confirmed his support to every point in the speech of Col. Gen. ‘Abd al-Fattāh al-Sīsī, Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces, as well as Minister of Defense, and to all the measures he will have to take in order to national security and state of peace.
