Meanwhile, in the village of Banī ‘Āhmad al-Sharqīah in the center of al-Minya, a Muslim was injured during a quarrel between Muslims and Copts, after the night prayer. The incident led to the gathering of citizens in front of Copts’ houses, causing the intervention of security forces.

In another village of Minya, Rīdā al-Tābi’a, Copts’ houses were vandalized with bricks and stones.
