The Church expresses its anger over the American support for the Muslim Brotherhood. A number of bishops and priests in Egyptian churches have expressed their anger at the U.S. and expressed to Tahrīr that those who burned and looted the churches have been video taped. Bishop Makarios stated that the “threats of the Muslim Brotherhood against me are all recorded”.
