The North Giza prosecution has ordered the detention of 15 defendants for 15 days pending investigations accusations of their involvement in the Kirdāsah police station massacre. Nasrī al-Zaynī, a member of the Salafī Jihadists, stated that he attacked a church as a form of “Jihad for God”. “This is in order to purge the Church of all the filth,” he said (Muhammad  al-Qammāsh, al-Masry al-Yawm, Sept. 30). Read original text in Arabic.
