Pope Tawadros has stated that the Church needs LE 190 million in order to rebuild the churches that were destroyed in the aftermath of the dispersal of the Raba’āh and al-Nahdah sit-ins. He added in a comment on the attack on al-Warrāq Church that he hopes that the nation moves on from this crisis and gave his condolences to all and their Muslim brethren (Ahmad al-Saadāwī, al-Shurūq, Oct. 27, p. 3).
