A second Copt was killed in Badrmān in al-Minya. Security forces have arrested three defendants in sectarian skirmishes in al-Minya. Bishop Sarabamon Agban, the caretaker of the Mar Girgis Church in Badrmān, has held the security responsible for their absence and the delay in arriving to the village. He stated that they arrived after the fire had burnt the Christians’ houses. He added that the clashes erupted because of a love story between a boy and a girl. It was proven that the girl was still a virgin and that the Christian boy did not attack her.
