Security units in the governorate of Luxor were yesterday able to contain a new sectarian crisis after Muslims accused a Christian policeman of insulting the Prophet Muhammad on his Facebook page. Police together with religious and community leaders were able to limit the anger of tens of Muslims who had gathered illegally outside the policeman’s house in the centre of Isnā (Ahmad 'Abū al-Hajjāj, al-Shurūq al-Jadīd, Feb. 9, p. 8). Read original text in Arabic.
