The Grand Imām Dr. Ahmad al-Tayyib, Shaykh of the Azhar, has decided to implement a comprehensive plan to ensure that the moderate position of Islam remains widespread in Egypt. He ordered new preaching convoys to the different villages and cities in Upper Egypt. This is in addition to the convoys that will be co-organized between the Azhar and the Ministry of Endowments during Ramadan (Sanā’ Hashīsh, al- Wafd, May 23, p. 2)
