On May 20, 2014, the Center for Arab-West Understanding (CAWU) organized a forum meeting under the title: Investigative Journalism in Egypt: Experiences and Challenges. Key speaker of the evening, Danish award winning journalist Mr. Flemming Weiss Andersen, spoke about his experiences in reporting from conflict zones, and how vastly important it is to try to get as close to the truth as possible. The forum was moderated by Arab West Report Chief Editor Cornelis Hulsman and attended by a dozen participants, who all contributed to the evening with perspicacious questions and engaging remarks.
