Shaykh Muhammad ‘Abd al- Rāzziq, Deputy of the Ministry of Endowments, stated that monitoring the Friday sermon will be of critical importance in the history of the Ministry. He added that there is no backing off to the Law of Sermons’ Regulations. He added that the law will be implemented starting from today and that the committees for judicial arrest that follow the Ministry are widespread in all governorates in order to prevent unauthorized preachers to give sermons, if needed by force. He further warned any non- Azharite preacher against trying to give sermons (Shaymā’ Faraj, al- Dustūr,  June 13, p. 2)
