The Giza criminal court has decided to sentence 12 defendants who were accused of taking part in killing General Nabīl Farāg in Kirdāsah, Giza to death, pending the opinion of the grand muftī. The verdict is to be announced on August 6th. The wife of General Farāg stated that she feels that the blood of her husband has not been spilt in vain and thanked the judiciary for reclaiming his rights (Umniyah Ibrāhim, al-Wafd, June 19, p 2).
