Minister of Endowment, Muhammad Mukhtār Jum’ah stated the campaign entitled “have you prayed for the prophet today?” is malignant. Azharite scholars reject that and stated that it presents the religiosity of the Egyptian people. Dr. Abd al- Fattāh Khidr, professor of Qur’ānic studies at the Azhar, states that  that intentions of people are only known to God. He also stated that he is one of the people that liked the campaign. He stated that these reminder campaigns to pray for the prophet are very precious. Dr. Mugāhid al- Gindī, professor of Islamic History, states that the campaign of “have you prayed for the prophet today?” has nothing malignant as this is considered part of the creed of Muslims (Ni’mat Midhat, al- Fath, June 20, p. 1)
