General Dr. Ahmad Jād Mansūr, Head of the Police Academy and Assistant to Minister of interior, stated in a press statement yesterday (July 9) that the “We had 72 students in the Police Academy were revealed to be members of the Muslim Brotherhood after an investigation. Most of them were expelled after the group's activities were banned.” In response to a question relating to possibilities of having the Academy accept students from al- Nūr Salafi party. The general stated that Nūr is not a religious party, but the Academy will not accept any person belonging to a religious party (Muhammad Abd al- Jalīl, al- Tahrīr, July 9, p. 1)
