Three rockets have been fired in Arīsh, a town in the north of Sinai. The first one targeted a residencial area and the other two were fired at security targets in ‘Arīsh and Rafah. Witnesses stated that seven civilians died, including one child and thirty others were injured. Another rocket was fired at Battalion 101 which led to the death of a soldier and another three injured. The third rocket was fired at security checkpoint in Za’rab Region in Rafah, which led to the injury of a conscript (Mahmūd Kamāl, al- Dustūr, July 15, p. 4).
