During an aired interview delivered to Sky News Arabic TV Channel on Saturday evening, Grand Imam Dr. Ahmad al-Tayeb of Al-Azhar Al-Sharīf condemned the terror attacks that hit the French capital Paris on Friday. He said, “The news on these criminal attacks shocked me like anyone else who is capable of feeling the sufferings of others,” adding that, “What happened in Paris is by all standards a heinous and terrible crime which cannot be approved or endorsed by any individual or any civilization.”
