The Monitoring Unit for African Languages of al-Azhar Observatory for Combatting Extremism continued its persistent follow-up on the activities of terrorist organizations in the African continent, which are led by ISIS (Dāʿesh) and al-Qāʿeda, as well as its off-shoots such as the organizations of Bōkō Ḥarām in Nigeria and al-Shabāb in Somalia. The terrorist activities of these organizations have varied over the course of the month of November of this year, and have included 23 operations of bombings and assassinations, which resulted in the killing of 128, the injuring of 33, and the taking hostage of another 15, in addition to the displacement of hundreds.
