This Tuesday evening (October 24), a convoy from the Egyptian Alms and Charity House (Bayt al-Zakāt wal Ṣadaqāt) arrived at the Rafaḥ gate on the Egyptian-Palestinian border to provide relief to the people of Gaza. This was done under the auspices of the Grand Imām of al-Azhar, Dr. Aḥmad al-Ṭayyib, who is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the Egyptian Alms and Charity House, in light of the humanitarian crisis and siege imposed on the people of Gaza, as well as the death of thousands of innocents, including women and children.
