The trio of Makāriyūs, ʿĀdel, and George went out, carrying trays of juices and plates of dates in their hands. They began their distribution to passersby and drivers in front of the Ifṭār cannon in Dolphin Square, located at the entrance to Qenā. No one paid attention to their religion or appearance; instead, they saw the humanity they carry in their hearts as they shared the moment of Ifṭār with their Muslim brothers during the holy month of Ramaḍan. For this reason, the locals have dubbed them The Trio of Love Lights from Qenā.
