The Egyptian ministry of Interior has denied the alleged assault at the Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Muhammad Bad`ī by a police officer. “There has been no complaint filed that Bad`ī has been assaulted on his way back from a trial's hearing session,” the assistant interior minster for public relations and media, Major General Abu Bakr `Abd al-Karīm said, stressing that Bad`ī himself did not file any such complaint and that the Ministry of Interior will not tolerate any assaults committed against any Egyptian citizen or their dignity.
