General Sāmiḥ al-Qāḍī, governor of Minya, stressed the need for everyone to join forces to overcome all obstacles to complete the work being implemented in the second phase of developing the Holy Family Path in the Dayr Jabal al-Ṭayr region. This is in an attempt to promote the region, to show the world its natural beauty and promote it as a global tourist destination, especially after the monastery was included in the global religious trip to Egypt. Following the approval of the Pope in the Vatican, the Church of the Virgin in Jabal al-Ṭayr has become a tourist destination for millions of pilgrims from all over the world every year.
