The Dār al-Iftāʾ in Egypt (a governmental, non-profit organization offering guidance to Muslims) will once again implement its annual plan of service to Muslims during the month of Ramaḍān, according to Dr. ʾIbrāhīm Najm, an advisor to the Grand Muftī of Egypt. Such services include the establishment of a hotline offering advice and clarification to those with questions about the best practices whilst fasting, daily live services broadcasting Qurʾānic recitations, and digital campaigns covering all topics relevant to those who are observing the fast. The Grand Muftī, Shawqī ʿAllām, and scholars of Dār al-Iftāʾ are among those who will be taking an active role in the services and programs.
