On Monday, Priest Dr. Munzer Isḥaq (Munther Isaac), pastor of the Christmas Lutheran Church, delivered a lecture under the title “Arab Christians: Between determination and displacement,” with the cooperation of the Orthodox Assembly in the Jordanian capital of Amman. During the lecture, the priest expressed that what is happening is Gaza is a war centered on ethnic cleansing and genocide and that the Isreali forces are using murder, hunger, and terror as means to fulfill their ends. He said that it is the responsibility of the Christians in the East to raise their voices against the Zionist narrative and confront the use of the Bible to justify genocide. “We were among the first people who issued data that accused Israel of committing genocide in Gaza, and the Churches of the South Africa were the first to support and communicate with us.”
